What happens if the Moneris PAYDTM card reader or PIN pad do not work when they arrive?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps to try when testing the PAYD® card reader or PAYD PIN pad:
• Ensure that you have 3G/4G/LTE or WI-FI connection.
• Check the dimensions of the cover for your phone. If it is too thick, it may be preventing the PAYD card reader from being inserted fully into the audio jack.
• Check your settings on your phone. Check to see if the speaker is off or if the phone setting is on vibrate.
• Set your phone volume to high once you are logged into the application.
• Please check the compatibility list.
